Day of Caving and Castles and Gardens in Wallonia

Yep, it was an awesome day, last Wednesday was a national holiday in Belgium so we took the opportunity to go and visit the south of Belgium called Wallonia. It started off with a trip through a gorgeous caving system, reached by a rickety old red tram. The caves themselves were excellent and so beautiful to see with a nice 13degrees inside!

After this we drove northwards via a few Castles and Country Mansions and their beautiful gardens. This way we visited some cute little towns like Dinant and Namur with their beautiful Chateaus and citadels.

It was a beautiful and exhausting day, but we got to see the beauty of Wallonia which most visitors overlook when they visit Belgium. As the locals say, Fantastisk!
